     Renaissance of Spring

The cinnabar sun sets
over luminous jade forests,
and bows to a fine-alabaster
   moon rising
in its grand-evening song…
that has shaken the
mountains and seas,
(across an infinite space
and ‘deep-time’ void)
long before any grateful ‘traveler’
could tarry...and gaze in wonder,
whenever Spring reenters this
   world,
veiled in her lovely celestial
   mists,
warm, fragrant winds,
and gentle, healing rains.

SecondHandDreamPoet-
I had to giggle after reading your critiques message.  Your poetry is very delightful to read. You know in the Starry Night painting how all the color just blending and twirl and waltz together, thats how this poem visualized to me, the colors danced off of the page and danced their way around me. This piece truly is a work of art. Great job with it.

I have never read a better "spring poem"
and I have read many poems about spring. This one is different and I think I agree with Kellie's lovely, poetic comment.

!Exquisite! Your fine imagery gifts the reader with visual and aromatherapy, ie...the essence of a fragrant healing Spring shower.

Secondhanddreampoet,

I like your cinnabar, jade and alabaster.  That's a good simile.

loved the pallette upon which you painted this masterpiece, along with the charismatic flow of the words themselves--specially liked the following:
"long before any grateful ‘traveler’
could tarry...and gaze in wonder"
