Dark Time Magic

at dark time
the moon
has its phases

I hear the bark of trees
a cooing among the leaves
moss covering time’s floor
a spell written in green
crickets, sing stars lullabies
it rings in silver satin
black on the velvet edge
of misty breath comfort sweet
a moment between moments
truth in
what is believed
