the sky is falling, and taking my
shadow with it.

but no one cares, not a soul.
and why should we?

as long as it doesnt fall on us
why would we care?

the earth is sinking,
no one cares, not a soul.

what is a soul, but an
echo of what we were,
when we cared, before we became
shadows.

and what is a shadow,
but an optic echo of
a once proud soldier
who marched against time
when the wind tasted like tears.

i am falling,
no one cares, not a soul.
and what am i,
but an echo of the shadow
of my youth,
when the world lived
and i did too.

oh to be a shadow again .....

Oh, this speaks to me. You see,
I have a passion for souls
and shadows...

Thank you!
