Peepin' Joe As I sat down to watch TV I heard my daughter calling me Her voice was filled with total fear Coming from the bathroom near She gave another fearful shout So I ran in to check it out I thought someone had dumped a load And just plugged up the ole commode She was standing there in fright Staring at an awful sight From the look upon her face I knew something was out of place I peered into the toilet bowl And there was something in the hole I wasn’t sure what it could be But it was looking back at me I could see a head with hair Underneath the water there I grabbed hold and gave a tug It popped right out onto the rug And when I got a closer view I realized exactly who, Had caused this little bathroom mess And very soon he did confess My son, who is just four you know Was playing with his G.I. Joe When suddenly he got the urge And quickly had the need to purge With Joe along there for the ride My son had let him fall inside With all the “stuff” in there with him My boy gave Joe a little swim He gave the handle a quick jerk But his little plan did not quite work Joe got stuck inside the pipe My son ran out without a wipe And it was shortly after, when My daughter saw Joe half way in And I reached in the toilet bowl To pull him from his wet foxhole Now it’s a joke around our place You ought to see my daughter’s face When anytime she has to go We say “Watch out for Peepin’ Joe” |

When you gotta go, you gotta go, Even if you're GI Joe Sometimes when you're in a rush, It's GI Joe who gets the flush. When GI Joe goes to the John, A simple flush won't get him gone. Army life is hard on a man, Named GI Joe, flushed down the can. (sorry, with four kids of my own, toilet humor seems to come natural-- enjoyed the poem) |
