Enlightenment…

is a lone-pine
silhouette against
an astonishing
moon rising
in a limpid field
of lucent stars.

Time, distance, superimposed within a field of internal awareness; sentient.

Bravo!

While waiting at a bus station recently there was such an amazingly beautiful indigo sky and pine branches hugged the almost full moon ... I stood in awe and thought that I could tolerate waiting when there was such magic in the sky ...

You just brought this scene back in a masterful way, dear Bruce. It is enlightenment, yes.

Love,
Margherita
