Love never fades cold,
an eternal flame that
gutters but never dies.
Fuel it needs to
flame colours of beauty
rare, bright transient hues.
Treasures held within human
kindness to swell the
waves of emotion from
heart to heart coves.
Ebb and flow of
breathing love, dreaming love,
to last a thousand
days of skipping freedom
on golden beaches, discovered
in our sleeping ecstasy.
Realised in our waking
days, shared with pride
bursting forth from the
wellspring filled by God,
replenished fresh with each
day we grow closer
to him and his
purpose instilled into us.
May my love grow,
for God, for the
people close to me,
for the sacrifice for
me and the world
entire by Christ Jesus.
My love is mine,
was Gods before me.
