This tiny vessel, its yellow sail,
flickering in the lyric of waves

a choreography that tosses
our smiles with gasps.

Out in the sea, our souls no longer
haunted by philosophies

of dead dreamers and tiresome
technical measurements.

With my eyes, I ask
to touch you.

You smile timidly as the sun
swirls inside your eyes.

I release this oar into the ocean
and clutch instead your wrist.

The blood flows smooth,
trickling subtle beats.

I close my eyes and breathe
the freedom of the sea.

Let the will of this wave
carry our ship wherever it must

for I shall be perfectly content
with whatever becomes of us

tomorrow.

Ocean Vuong,

This is well organized, I like it.

It's always nice to see someone from the Big Apple.
