Super Cell Let's not hope she falls into dispair Or there would be no monkey in the chair. Let's knock on the door and give her the day Because she always chases our blues away. Let's go where she ever dwells in solitary Breathe life back into her lungs, light and airy. Let's push her on her swing into her spring Whisper in her ear about daring things. Let's dress her in white as dark as the night Speak in her language of her will not might. Let's keep her a girl, simple and naive Joyous, hopeful, honest, provocative and free. Let's embrace her for the good of humanity Super cell our chances and possiblities. De Anna Lane Aston copyright 2007 |

Hi DeAnna, Welcome to PiP. I hope it is a place you grow to enjoy as much as I do. I look forward to reading more of your poetry. This was interesting - I am kind of obtuse sometimes so I didn't really 'get' the last line. But, that doesn't stop me from enjoying I read. Looking forward to "seeing" you around these blue pages. Thank you for the welcome. Super cell - so often I have so much more energy than other people, and I wish I could inject them with my energy so they can keep up. It's not arrogance but a passionate wish other people had my energy of mind and body so I had to keep up for a change. D |
