I feel a warm tickle as we kiss, like a feather floating across my lips. There's a map of the world upon your face, But tonight, you're free in our embrace. Like a brooke running gently in time, the warmth of your body courses through mine. And as we fall between the cover's creases, the candlewick's glow slowly ceases. Even in the dark, there's light in your eyes, like the peeking of the moon through the blinds. The threads of our souls unweave and enmesh, as we begin a dance, flesh on flesh. And as you rest your precious head, upon my chest, here in our bed. There's no place in time I'd rather be, But here tonight, just you and me. I'll be with you until time's end, my lover... my wife... my best friend. © Steve Nelson In the sight of Love, fear isn't even as great as a single hair: in the law of Love, everything is offered as a sacrifice |

Poems about my wife don't seem to flow as easily as others, which is odd because she's the love of my life. But when I "get to" write one about her, my toes curl with happiness ![]() ![]() In the sight of Love, fear isn't even as great as a single hair: in the law of Love, everything is offered as a sacrifice |
