A daffodil doesn't know It grows Deep beneath the Winter snows. And when in Spring It nods it's head. It doesn't think it should be dead. And when the sun is @ its height And is chased back home By the night It hides From all the passer-bys Waiting For the sun to rise. |

Simon, Try to avoid the use of ampersands, they stand out too much, and distract too much from the poem's meaning. Other than that it’s very nice. Bobby |

Just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who has not only read, but commented on this. Passing Shadows: I'm really pleased that you can relate to this, I try to write things that not only ammuse me but also mean something to me on some level ( I'm sure that's the case with every submission here) to have that vindicated is a pleasure indeed. Thank you And I could say the same to TomMark, your affirmation means a great deal to me, thanx. Bobby Jordan: I think you must know how I feel about your work & your every comment I do see as a special honour & thank you for it. Arctic Wind: Thank you, it is indeed a privlidge & I am very much loving it here. JamesMichael: I really enjoy your enjoyment thanx... And thank you to everyone who spends some time on this site... |
