In that moment after ecstasy
comes surrender to this life
that leaves the spirit loving
and the body cast aside
and yet the two entwined
until death doth sever them.

But in the knowing there is need
to knot the line between the two
and forcibly prevent the flow
of spirit love to human feel
because easy, oh, so easy
to turn the pure and natural
into a strived for goal.

And of this goal I dare say ne’er
because the pact of spirit love
like the pip inside a peach
thrown away after the eat
of the sweet and juicy.

There waiting on the sidelines;
can you see the pick-up van
like an ominous destructive force
ready and prepared
to annihilate the goodness
we aren’t privy to?

Life doesn’t care, you see
it’s strong enough to flatten love
in a dumpster with the garbage
and think nought of the spiritual
discarded like a pip.

What are pips?  I know you know
they’re seeds that seed, re-seed.

Thank you Roniece. Maybe one day I'll look at the ordinary commonplace and view it as just that.  I love yellow peaches but there's always a pip.

Look after "you".
