Deep within the night.

The last scream
Sips in.
Sips in my neuron
And, fogs my dream.
A series of late morning wake-ups,
Rings to alarm you
Of what you won’t get,
Won’t ever get.

Neighborhood lighthouse
Has been neutralized.
Hand a mug to your life.
A long day is to come.

In mid morning
You will muse
On whose screams were they?
And, that’s all.

To you it’s more vital
To think of “how to get rid of a girlfriend”.

A scream for scream’s sake
Deep within the night.
Deep within you.
