Action...scene one If someone were to tell you that you looked hot would you accept their praises or not? And would you enter into a relationship with them not knowing if it would work out as planned. And what would become of choices such as that based only upon vision and statements of fact. Perhaps the chances of success would get better when based upon whether they find your personality, and the goals you're pursuing equally alluring. JamesLee 20January 2008 |

When the first words from a man are "you are hot" then he doesn't have very significant "plans" ... he just wants to find out if he is right! ![]() You are a gentleman and you know that. ![]() love Margherita ![]() |

"If someone were to tell you that you looked hot..." If someone ever said that to me I would head straight to my shrink and tell him my invisible pills wore off! Great write...and very true. |

I agree with the two responses above that being "hot" is just a come-on and the conversations that follow are more important. But I would accept the praise graciously M |

Thank you Roniece, Margherita, Clang and Nakdthoughts for the wonderful responses... In some lunchtime conversations with some of my friends we discussed this very subject...I posed the question "What if you were attracted to a woman thinking she was hot, and you dated her but found out that it was only a sexual or physical attraction, and in matters of intellect, goals and personality it was a terrible choice."... In most cases they said it would be a quick fling if looks and personality didn't match... Roniece if my honeys flight doesn't get delayed in Chicago she will be here in less than seven hours...I'll be waiting for my honey...James |

If a stranger were to come up to me and say that I was "hot", I would not be flattered. That is rather crass and is not a way to treat a lady ~ which I am. ![]() However, if I was to be told that by a man who knows the real me, I would be flattered! ![]() Hug to you, Island Man, Linda ![]() |
