Winter Storm evening bells waver a sad winter wind plays the bonewood trees and dancing snow all paths…hidden memories call joy hides in such loneliness! ~ |

Secondhanddreampoet, This is a good description of the lovely, cold, loneliness of a winter storm in the woods. It brings back fond memories, been there. Bobby |

How strange that loneliness can be so sad and yet so beautiful at the same time. Ida |

Isn't the Bonewood tree one that bears bright fruit in winter? If so, an interesting placement in this poem. This write combines the senses in a fine mix of hearing, sight, the choreography of snow... that which we can see / that which we can only imagine. |

PS: I read this again today thinking 'how very Magritte of you' to include the Bonewood tree in this winter scene. Smiling. |

Just lovely, beautiful! I remember snows so deep like that, watching out the window at night, it was like magic powder dust blowing about in the wind.....and knowing there was no school because of it, well, that just made it even more magical~lol! ~ARH |
