I want to shimmy the night away
with you in my arms
I want to kiss you
with all the stars watching
I want to dream my life away
with you by my side
I want to tuck away all your secrets
in my back pocket
I want to close my eyes
and walk down the years
with you holding my hand
I want to
cross my heart
and hope to die
and pinky swear
that I'll always be there
even when I notice a gray hair
I want to twist and shout
until we both fall down
I might not be able to carry my own weight
But I'm strong enough
to catch you when you fall

If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried.
