So here we all are, once again,
To wqtch as this year ends,
To trade our Christmas wishes
With our special group of friends.

So many things have happened. Some were good
And some were bad.
Some made us laugh and smile with joy..
Some made us feel sad.

But, through it all, our house still stands
And that's what counts the most.
To all the pipsters gathered here,
I now propose a toast.

May your lives be filled with peace and love.
May your roads be smooth and straight.
May much time remain before the angels
Greet you at the gate.

May the poetry continue pouring
From your golden pens
And may you ne'er forget these special days
Surrounded by your friends.
