Emerging From The Fire

brimstone & turmoil,
stress & strife,
I've been through the torture
of hell in my life...

been burned by the flames,
blinded by the flashes,
most everybody figured
I'd come out as ashes.

But gather round,
come inspect the scene...
emerging from the fire
I'm an iron figurine,
standing tall and strong
perfectly molded and dried-
no cracks, no flaws,
sculpted hard with pride...

and I dare you to wage another attack,
for I have too much passion and desire
for you to come close, so you'd better stand back...

'cuz I'm emerging from the fire!
