  Seasons of the Mind

A million wildflowers
dancing in a cool Spring
  breeze…

The taste of pine and
  jasmine
in the Summer air…

Fine-painted leaves and
  sunbeams
spinning in the shadows
of an Autumn forest…

A stone-hearth Winter fire
in any place called ‘home’…

penultimate joys of the
uncluttered mind!

For those of us whose seasons of the mind are more storms of the soul, this zenesque work may recall the better parts of the past year and look to those of the seasons ahead.
