Open up your eyes,
you see us in
the summer sun, sat
shaded with breeze blowing
flowers, wishing your life
back, to be again.
Now we sit, you
watch and hate our
youthful energy, but see
nonetheless, as heat beats
down, the day amber.
Azure blue skies paint
this memory with clear
colour, songs call us
back to days we
shall never forget, even
with times long passage.
