Lumpy Oatmeal makes me Crazy!

Tonight,

every star counts my sadness,
shines on every tear
that fills me full,
not shed,
swallowed deep

tonight.

Roniece

Thank you.

Just a bit sad - nothing that won't be gone tomorrow.  Just a 'get out of the bathtub and capture the moment' kind of sad.  Does that make any sense?

Anyway, thanks for the butterfly and for making me smile.

Alison

Eric

Thanks for asking.  It was kind of like capturing a snapshot of emotion.  I have read two books in the last few days that have left a lingering impression on me.  Both were about children - both hit home and left a bit of an empty feeling.

It's just a passing feeling - and I work things out by writing.

Dear Alison, the hardest tears to hold back are the ones we swollow and hide from others, often it does not take that much to bring on the pain and the heartbreak, but when the moments are over, there is so much to recap and remember, much to write and so much to share.
Enjoyed your post here my friend, thank you for sharing.

"not shed,
swallowed deep"

understand this...shove it down....till there is no more room...then eventually, it will come out...

I know of these moments too, dear Alison.

Sometimes when we think it "inexplicable", it's the longing for the Source where we come from ... I believe.

Well rendered sadness.

Love and hugs.

There is such a level of kindness, concern and support on these pages here at PiP.

I thank you all for the thoughts expressed about my sad moment - and my writing.

John, I especially thank you for sharing the poem - If You Must.  It's a keeper and I look forward to spending some time reading in that site.

Thank you both
and I am doing great!

It was a passing moment of introspective sadness.

Or something.

...this encompasses my spirit like ground mists, not liquid as rain, but more blinding, and I feel moments of winter.

Sending a shooting mountain star your way...whose petals sing hot pink, the first sign of spring in the snow laden Rockies.

Lovely writing!
