dusk moon sprouts wings and blue laughter echoes solitary magenta splinters universes in a tear drop belies love legends in stolen light veiled lace and night shadow fantasy left to startled flight but for the brush of poetry slipping through ardent fingers songs of a brown bird before dawn |

Earth Angel, I've missed you, too. Those little birds are quite tenacious. We had a resident little brown bird on our porch beam one winter. He came back the following winter for two or three nights. I like to think he found a mate, because I didn't see him again. I've been under the weather lately, so my poems have been a rare occurance. Good to see you, Dear Heart!...and all my other favorites here, too.  ~Karen |
