With each look I bleed
each word
each knowing smile

I'm here right next to you
but I might as well be
halfway 'round the world

You sigh, but not for me
You dream somewhere I'm not

I don't know how to let you go
But then you really are already gone
so I bleed
with each look, each word, each knowing smile

You bleed me with goodbye.

This was WOW for me. This poem 'bleeds' with such an intimacy. Truly beautiful.
