Patience is a wise mans friend But time is short and rare For what if waiting goes till end And still he’s waiting there? A wise man knows which game to play The time to bet or fold Just how to pass the days away The time to leave and time to stay And when the truth is told But who are wise among us all? From where do wise men grow? We learn to jump, we learn to fall We’re taught and then we know So wise thoughts come from learning From lessons life will give Each day then wisdom earning The wheels of knowledge turning And wiser then to live |
