That the lessons of one are transferred to the next as we search through what's come to be known as the truth, finding no reference point but an old Tarot decks' and the "Temperence" card for our sayer of sooth. As depicted an image in balance between elementals we know of as water and earth. A winged figure, eyes closed, whos' demeanor's serene taking weight of the soul to determine its' worth. From the depths of our dreams to awakening thoughts like the liquid which flows or the vessel that's filled, crossing over perhaps something more than was brought in a random outpouring that here lies distilled. Where the mystic and that of the pragmatist weigh in the grand scheme of things such as I cannot say. |

The mystic and the pragmatist... So that's the voices I've been hearing arguing in my head! ![]() Doc? This is beautiful, and you've far surpassed my expectation. Again, you took the challenge and kept your style, and I loved the deep peek into you. Bravo, sweet friend! ![]() |

Iliana, Thanks. I took Serenitys' link to wikipedia, read what was there ( as I'm not up on Tarot ) beat it around in my head for a while and this is what popped out. I'm glad you liked it. Doc Serenity, Thanks for the shove to the ol' gray matter. Your choice of subject proved to be inspirational, and, I learned a little something. Be well, Doc |
