Streams of light cover you as you sleep. I lay in the dark and watch them. You so close I can feel you breath. My mind wanders back to days gone by, when all i wanted was this, was you. I almost lost hope, I almost gave up...almost. But now that you're with me everything falls in place. You were the Beacon guiding me here, to this distant place, always meant to be my home. Years spent travelling the wastelands of my heart, lead me to the comfort of your arms. No dark troubles can reach me here, We rise above. So in the night with you asleep in my arms, I make a solemn vow. Wherever you find yourself, near or far, I will be there. No matter what troubles or dark places, I will follow.
