In crystal drops of my tears I'm seeking just your reflection, Deceptive guise of perfection, Love that's been lasting for years. You play the game with my fate, And draw is always the ending. We sure could keep pretending, But tell me: is it too late? I wonder: why should I care? I'd better live on my own; But I would never have known So much without you there. So, but for you, king of hearts, No longer I'd meet the dawn, In game with fate - just a pawn, And in the world - just a shard. |
