Listening to every heart

Like snowdrops they fall
all the leaves of the season
quilting vibrantly
the green grass of last summer
now red, gold, and orange

Hi, K! I have been enjoying all of the poems on autumn that have been posted for the season. I adore this time of year ~ and your autumnal gift of words from your pen of sun Light.

This was a very pleasant interlude to my day.
Thank you!

Loving hug,

Linda

Sissie....You know, we may live miles apart, but the season of falling leaves stitches us together with the same color.  Isn't that wonderful?

Yes, dear Karilea, that's what I felt too ... like snowdrops ... you said it so beautifully.

SIL, I can see it....the complete scene.  Along with it, I begin to imagine the meaning of today and the depths of this unfurl like the flag.  *hugs*...jo

You should see my front yard. I have two great trees covering my whole front yard. So, there are leaves all over my front yard.

well, you know that fall is not my favorite time of year, but was watching the speed at which the tree outside my sunroom was dropping leaves after an especially cold night, and yep, you said it perfectly
