That Les Paul must bring quite a special sound about!
Your dreams are very enjoyable!

thanks Margherita, you have saved me from the dustbin of obscurity...and yes nothing sounds as sweet as a "turned on" les paul.

What a beautiful guitar! It does take a good musician to make those retro sounds come to life...and definitely helps the music of the heart, too.  LOL

Well, as a humble finger picker myself, I got into the feel of this write and really enjoyed it! It was music to my ears!

My rusty, trusty ole guitar has many a mile on it! It is an Epiphone made by Gibson. It may not have all the pearl inlays and bells and whistles, etc. but it makes the purrdiest music!

Great post, Moon One!

Les Paul...I have several guitar players in the house. Les Paul has been a favorite of theirs forever.

Enjoyed the write.

Yep. hehehehe!  That would be me, only tethered to the vaccuum cleaner.   LOLOL!  Bless your heart!   I adore my family.

Funny thing is, I do have a piano, and there is a story behind it, too. Every year, when the tax returns came, my husband would cash the check and not come home until every last penny was gone.  So one year, I hid the check, deposited it, and withdrew the money. I bought a nice little spinet from a woman who played professionally and found someone to deliver it.  After I paid for it, I told my husband.  He said if I got the piano, he was leaving.  I had always wanted a wedding ring and never got one, so I looked him in the eye and said, "Honey, there's the door!"

It was delivered the next day.  He didn't speak to me for three days, but that was 25 years ago.  He's still here and so is the piano.

He doesn't seem too worse for the wear having never once heard me play it and we've been married 39 years as of last month.  I've given up on the  wedding ring, but after so many weekends of cooking and cleaning left to me by 7 to 15 extra people, I've learned where the door is, too. ... And I'm a whole lot sassier!

Thank you for the cartoon; it's really cute! ~ Klassy
