Wow, dear moondogz, this ride is something I too dream of ... I said "if I don't know the invitation, I don't know if I should accept or decline". I enjoy your fantasy, one day it will be possible, we are on our way, even if rather slowly. If humanity stopped spending money on wars we could spend more on scientific research on every level. But also we should invest on finding some other planet where we could live within our galaxy. Asimov said there were reasons to believe that there are 625 planets in our galaxy which could be part of similar solar systems as ours, with similar atmosphere etc. That was fun, meanwhile may I have a slice of the pumpkin pie? thanks for your kind comments Margherita, yes someday we shall fly out past the big dipper and the milky way...until then we can go there in our minds, anytime we want. |

I went looking to see if there were any posts of yours that I might have missed ~ et voila! I found this space treat! I have similar fantasies. Perhaps I could hop aboard a spaceship with you and we could go sightseeing through the cosmos together! I can see the headings in the newspapers already! I really liked this poem as it took me back to the innocence of childhood so I enjoyed throughly. Thanks for a fun poem |

I think we all should jump aboard and be our 5 year old (inner child) selves..forget all our earthly problems and enjoy the journey on out past the big dipper and the milky way....thanks for your comments EA and Brian. |
