I WON’T BE A VICTIM – WELL, NOT FOR LONG ANYWAY 30 September 2007 Like a rain-drenched cat I will scurry inside where it is warm and safe and groom myself dry and with regained dignity I will sit on the window sill and glare cat-power at the rain. - Owl |

Good for you, Owl. This is very good. You must be a very observant cat person. Ida |

Hello Owl, I love this! I'm sure that's just what my princess is thinking right now, as she's waiting for her first morning venture out - typically though, it's raining here! Abena x |

Wise One, you have the uncanny ability to communicate with animals on such a deep level, that you can even take on their persona! I feel for you, Diana. You are one brave owl! Loving and protective hug, Linda |

I love this! And kitty Rudy says "it's alright for a human". You know how arrogant those cats can be. |

Thank you Ida. You understand me very well. Thank you Abena. Please stroke, hug and kiss your kitty princess for me. I hope the English rain stopped for a while so she could get out. Thank you, Linda, for the love, the protective hug,for saying that I am wise, for saying that I am brave, and for the compliment that makes me glow from the core out (that I have "the uncanny ability to communicate with animals on such a deep level that I can even take on their persona" - that I will remember you said for the rest of my life!) and for enjoying my poem. I hope I haven't left anything out. Oh, and most of all, thank you for being our Earth Angel! Smiles at and thanks to your wife, JWesley - and you too, of course! Glad you enjoyed it, vandana and thanks for the smile. Tina, please stroke, hug and kiss kitty Rudy for me (if and when he agrees to accept all of those from a stranger, even an adoring one!). No cats aren't arrogant. They are just aware that they are regal and they know their place in society and that we need them to be regal so that we can adore and serve them with the love and gratitude that they deserve and they also know that if we didn't love them so much we would be jealous of their beauty and everything they are! After all, they treat us their adoring slaves very well, you must admit! Thank you quatro for enjoying the poem. I am so sorry to hear on what you are missing out on such wonder in your life. It is just because you have never known a cat well enough for you to join our happy band of cat-lovers. My wish for you is that very soon you will be thrown into the situation where you get to know one so well that you love him or her the way we cat-lovers love cats. After the first one, it is but one small step to loving all cats. - Owl |
