it used the be your mountains
that my eyes would climb on morning tide
from the drifting of my dragon

I would use my hands
to devour their volume
begging for more with a hunger

more than a day's worth eye full
perhaps a panting ravenousity
and then my bow was nudged subtle

by the seam of your sea and sand
the bashful bay ceremony
of your willingness to bear my wood

and the blessed journey's ending
where my rudder could press in furrow
of a lover's virgin embracing

and calm waters would steal my soul
