"Mortality" Mortality, man's greatest foe I pray that you will answer this: Why is it that you curse us so, Why can't our days be limitless? So silently I sit and wait For soon I feel that I will know The secret that controls my fate No answer is forthcoming, though Mortality, man's greatest fear Unconquerable enemy Perhaps I just refused to hear The answer that you've given me Eternal bringer of despair I turn and know I've been a fool Whatever made me think you'd care? O wicked creature, dark and cruel... AMdG "My candle burns at both ends; it will not last the night; but ah, my foes, and oh, my friends--it gives a lovely light!" -Edna St. Vincent Millay |

If life was never ending, how would we learn to appreaciate what we had, and love the way we do? Additionally what would we have to fight for, how would we know what was worth our attention or not. Death does not condem us it makes life worth living. Nice write |
