To Spin a spiders web,
one must begin
at the top,

weaving threads,
threads of darkness,
to catch the fly,

thread upon thread,
till the one
becomes dead,

the capture,
feeding on
the captive,

caught in a trap,
smothered to a
slow death,

Invisible web,
hangs, ready,
to devour,

A beautiful artwork,
used to kill,
steal,

with deceit,
a life.

I agree Lightkeeper,
and I need a big feather duster
for a bigger spider

i am not a fly, but a ladybug.

keeper of Light, lol! i used to call them ladybirds, but after reading a book, a little girl in the story named them ladybugs. That has always stayed in my mind.

So now I name them ladybugs, just a bit different.
