No Promise of Tomorrow I suppose when they stop saying that they love you today, there's not much hope left for tomorrow. I remember the day she stopped telling me that she loved me, at least the day when I became conscious of her lack of favorable words. Perhaps she had stopped a day or so earlier without my heart noticing the loss. And I remember leaving her a message on her cell phone, for she was far away that day, and many other days. My message... "I have noticed that you don't tell me that you love me anymore." And to this day, she hasn't confirmed it or denied it. So began my sorrow, upon the day she gave me no promise of tomorrow. "Where did you go, I miss you so. Seems like its been forever since you've been gone."...Fort Minor JamesLee 10July 2007 |

I have experienced this as well and you wrote it so beautifully. I enjoyed reading and remembering. |
