This is passive; my keystrokes elongated turned downward into furrowed thought; telling stories of lives made up with simple words. A patronizing emblem rests smooth along your fingers, a heart throbs with each beat, echoing sadness into hollow chambers of an empty closet. A lie spinning, twists into a tornado damaging my ears; the sliver or truth beams down from the dark sky, asking for favors that cannot be granted. Rose colored satin melting into skin, I wear it on my sleeve, with validation. Give me a reason not to mourn. There is nothing left, debris of your presence, sprinkles the floor of this bedroom; I smile only at the memories. |

"Rose colored satin melting into skin, I wear it on my sleeve, with validation. Give me a reason not to mourn." I love this--you caught a gentle edge of insistancy! Very acute, and not without a gentility. sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet Much enjoyed. |

That sort of tornado can certainly do a number on one's emotional well-being! I could feel your emotive words right in the pit of my stomach as they conjured up some painful memories of my own. Very well done! EA |
