The lady in the fountain Trudging forth,my eyes full of sun all my work is not yet done sweating grossly, mile after mile wishing I could find a smile Got to find a shorter route feels like there's water in my boots maybe I could use a rest set down my load for just a spell maybe this is all a test can I ring that magical bell Something up ahead I see I'm not sure what it could be seems like something I might need maybe something good for me closer, closer I approach cauciosly at first I go now I see her batheing there in her fountain full of snow She waved me in with her sweet grin and how could I resist? could I say no ? to cooling snow? 'twas she that did insist Gently she did bathe me tanderly she cooled me Then she learned to rule me she showed me where to go The lady in the fountain on a hot and humid day she lifted my cares away just long enough forever! It's about time! *grin* You did a great job with this (although you could have dropped by today and I would have "proofed" it for you!--just some typos/spelling errors--see "cautiously" and "bathing") But I'm really glad that you took your time, as the extra thought shows in your work. You took a great idea for a theme, and I very much enjoyed what you did with this'n. Give my love to Leah too. |

Hmm, on a hot summer's day like this one, I wouldn't mind having a man in a fountain for my own cooling pleasure. Loved the ethereal quality of this write. Adios & Adieu, Adagio EA |

Well, congratulations! But I'm gonna miss your beautiful roses. *pout* (Did Mike get roses too? I'm thinking he prefers his buds "weiser", eh? ) You be a good boy with your new toy, now! |
