Contemplate this moment. Are you in need or are you free? Are you warm enough and fed? Do you have a way to feel and see and a pillow which to lay your head? Are you breathing well and living fine? Are you helping others through? Do you believe life has a grand design and that God has a plan for you? Do you have friends that you can call when you're feeling blue and need to talk? Do you accept that you will fall when trying so hard to walk? Do you wake in the morning and sleep at night knowing everything will be okay? Can you say 'It's all going to work out right' and rejoice in having another day? Do you end the evening with a smile and know you've done your best? Do you have shoes for tomorrow's mile? Then you are truly blessed. Contemplate this moment. |

Good one, Dixie! Yes, we all have much to be grateful for at any given moment - may not be what we want but we're generally fine. |

fine, powerful 'write'! [MANY 'important' questions asked... sadly, I must answer 'no' to far too many of them]... serious applause!! |

Dixie darlin .. I love this so much Sometimes its hard to look past the bad and dwell on all the blessings we have instead, but when we do that .. the bad doesn't seem so terrible, does it? *smiles* beautiful! Sheli |

Dear Dixie Do you end the evening with a smile and know you've done your best? Do you have shoes for tomorrow's mile? Then you are truly blessed. Contemplate this moment. More and more as I get older. This is uplifting, Dixie... |

This reminds me of the old saying, "count your blessings". This is a wonderful reminder to just appreciate the blessings that we normally take for granted. wonderful piece of writing. |

Dear Dixie, if you could spread a little happiness and love, as well as a few friends on top, it could be me. This was truly a great write and one that I am sure everyone will enjoy and reply on. You do seem more at peace tonight my friend, hope it continues for you, be well and enjoy. Rick |
