Listening to every heart

0 posted 2007-06-19 11:23 AM

Turn around
suddenly sounds of song
wash o’er me again

Turn around
find great blessings within
these vast circles of good friends…

Turn around
here are the walls and hallways
written tender deep in blue

Turn around
over time, come to realize a
home dream home now true…

Turn around
hear the slip of sounds from
poets ever dear

Turn around
know the light that others
beacon clear

Turn around
and never see a sign
that no one’s ever home…

Turn around
and realize that time has
swiftly flown…

Turn around
and thank the man that brought
the ways to bring all
into view

Turn around
acknowledge, Yes,
some long held dreams
come true.

~*~

Thank you, Ron, for all of the opportunities,
time, and thought that you’ve given to PiP,
and to its vast array of members.

Sometimes, when we turn around we see exactly what was right in front of us all along...sometimes, we do that.  Lovely, this and you, Karilea.

Well I can most definately understand and relate to these sweet sentiments Karilea.

Clicking heels here ...

"There's no place like home ...
There's no place like home ..."

A lovely write, and a perfect opportunity to thank Ron. I am ever and always appreciative of all he does. Much enjoyed this.

Best wishes and big hugs,
/Kit

Yes! Yes! Yes! Beautiful home! Beautiful Ron! Beautiful poem! Beautiful you!

One memorable day in 2002, I turned around and found a beautiful home! Beautiful Ron!  ~ and other beautiful friends like you!

Some may feel that "beautiful" is over-used in the English language. But I think it is a beautiful word!

Thank you, Beautiful, for the beautiful poem!

Have a beautiful day!

Sunshine,

Beautiful lyrics!  Yes, to turn around and appreciate.  I think that's what life is all about... You've hit the nail right on the head.  We've so much to be thankful for...  (Don't you just love those dangling prepositions?)

One of the stanzas made me think of the dream Ron must have had to create Passions.  Thanks, Sunshine.  Thank you, Ron.

You give so much...without you, this site would be hollow....well designed, beautifully executed, and hollow.

How appropriate a read for a day when I really needed to "turn around"... What a beautiful 'thank you' you've written!  *S*

nice compliment to Ron, fine tribute to the poetically passionate
blue pages and all the grand poets who enscribe them so marvelously
with their finely word-painted dreams! (and you, Ms. 'Sunshine' help
grace and illuminate the pinnacle of said pantheon)
