The rolling hills of Ireland fair, how they bring such a beautiful sight, smelling of green blowing through hair, makes me dance a jigg, for such delight. My true love awaits at the garden glen, where yellow roses bloom golden and bright, lovers hearts pondering where souls have been, Dance harmoniously, as they reunite. Spill your poetry into my empty heart, Whisper soft words of love into my ear, let not our kindred souls ever depart, but grow together glued by our tears. My dear sweet love of time and forever, my darling man of poetry and Rhyme, hold me underneath your wings of feathers, inside your sweet arms of neverending time. J. M. Barrie, the playwright, may have said it best when he wrote, “God gave us memories so that we might have roses in December.” [This message has been edited by A Romantic Heart (06-18-2007 11:14 AM).] |

Grand-fine ‘Romanticism’! I understand, of course…the choice of green for the text of this fine ‘write’… but, it is (for me at least) really difficult to read… I especially loved: “Spill your poetry into my empty heart, Whisper soft words of love into my ear, let not our kindred souls ever depart,…” AND: “my darling… of poetry and Rhyme, hold me…… inside your sweet arms of never ending time.” serious applause!! |
