you went the normal way down
around the corner with signs
a bit slower at first
then faster just before
the breaking of metal sounds

I heard the dogs barking
and there was tree there too
doing it's thing with sundowns
and a boy stopped his thoughts
to feel the empty of the sky

when you slipped through
between the folds and the wrappers
like you had a key to heaven
but didn't know the way
until you found it at that moment

and went on ahead of my leaving
just to see if it was like dreams
with nothing on the other side
except not being awake anymore
and wearing jeans with worn cuffs

barefoot where our empty had been

If and whenever you write a poem
that doesn't make me jerk, tear up,
or just say...

then you will know
you've lost your touch.

And I don't think you'll ever
lose your touch.

Daark,
I truly admire your usage of the language to tell your stories. In all that I have read, yours' remains quite unique. You have a flair that connects the reader to the subject through abstracts not normally drawn, the end result being quite outstanding.
