Days are hard
Especially at times
When hours are long

Spent in step
To another’s tune
Whose song is one
You do not care to sing

Yet when the sun goes down
And the world
Closes its weary eyes
No one can tell you who

To dream of being
With in the meadow

On the river
By the sea

This is a very beautiful poem of sorrow. it is romantic. touched my heart, truly.

"Days are hard
Especially at times
When hours are long"

one's mood could make a day 89 hours long.

"Spent in step
To another’s tune
Whose song is one
You do not care to sing"

sad. need a better
song or sing better probably.

"Yet when the sun goes down
And the world
Closes its weary eyes
No one can tell you who"

night...it is the time to face one's heart in the quietness.
"To dream of being
With in the meadow

On the river
By the sea"

beautiful place but empty of love.

sad.
