Strobe Of Mind When a river finally empties To the vast and gracious arms at sea Never quenched the thirst of moments Nor to end beginnings as they be Rain so sudden and commanding Drops that gathered trickle down Ever as spectacular in searching Ponder deepest sentiments renown Roll the waves ashore to plunder Capsized starlight slippers light When a river finally empties Calm the ocean’s mind tonight Copyright Kkh 6/4/07 |

Normally, I save you for the last to read (kinda like the largest shrimp, yanno?) *laughing* I do so love a good savor... and this, touches on the heart of my being--a river runs to be an ocean. Always. Thank you--I actually feel validated. |

fine imagery!: I particularly love: “never quenched the thirst of moments” and: those trickling drops...spectacularly searching or: those rivers calming the ocean’s mind; etc! |

I love this poem!...the graceful and mystical convergence of the two... Rivers and oceans baffle be... Fresh water falling from the sky that was once in the sea, This boggles my mind completely. Salt water teleported up and transformed into fresh water, Seems more complex than Dennis Millers verbal cannon fodder, I teeter-totter on insanity, face gets hotter, When thinking I’m composed of two thirds water, Sucks any emotions of urbanity, Makes me feel primal like a jellyfish, Small and basic like some scum inside a Petri dish, So essential for existential living is this, Lucid, translucent, odorless, tasteless, faceless, lender of life. That somehow comes from water that is as salty at Lot’s wife. Amazing. Great poem =) "A witty saying prooves nothing" (Voltare) |
