Fine-Enamel Moon On evenings like this... beneath a fine-enamel moon where waves of pooling moonlight break on the wildest shores of love and fate, (in the mystic sands of Time) luminous wisps of ‘poet-dreams’ dance in shadow-gypsy arabesques with phantom shades and moon-beam silhouettes, (of all the ‘secret things’ the night presumes) to distant ancestral voices singing hushed refrains of loss and destiny in ancient Aeolian tunes...the sad wind plays, (on ‘fleeting-memory’ strings teased from lonely 'broken hearts') marshaled for just such an occasion by the night! |

To highlight my favorite lines would be to copy the poem in its entirety. |

agree with all others. Beautiful, 1/10s slower than before made the poem more romantic and softer and sadder and darker with a brighter moon. simply beautiful. |

I too, have such fleeting memories... ~ and you scribed them exquisitely. Mystical, dreamy, ethereal... Oh, for such an evening as of which you have so eloquently written... Linda P.S. It was a pleasant surprise to see your comely face. I can imagine that there are intelligent and twinkling eyes behind those cool shades. |

Secondhanddreampoet, This is an interestingly long sentence, with good use of parenthetical expressions. Having observed the moon from atop a cupola up in your stomping grounds, it works well for me. You have inspired me to write a poem about it. Bobby |

Your paint upon the evening is as gentle as the moonlight itself. Enjoyed the view through your eyes. |
