Graze Of Your Hand

A pearl rests, dangling serpentine secrets that honor spills
Rising and falling in shudder breaths ‘tween moonlight hills
Glossary of fate and fable, moan the touch of music, linger clings

Velvet passages embark of knead, slipped away in midnight plead
Rising and falling, commission of stalling stars, cascade in flowing deed
Set upon the deep blue night, a pearl submits in radiant light

Along the meander of tan lines, so gold the warmth of day
Wishes made and wishes heard aglow the words on twilight play
Hear the sighs in talkative eyes, as lips in blossom form

Before the damp on petals raised to please the tickle of the morn
A pearl to dance beneath the subtle stroke of love’s adorn

Absolutely amazing words you put together, and I agree, a beautiful portrait.

I've been waiting all day to savor this (bad connection earlier) and as always I am mesmerized by the beauty of the visuals.

But not so much that I don't see the intricate, yet delicate construction that you make seem so fluid and easy...hmmm, is this a form, and if so, would you mind educating me?

I'm more than impressed with your artistry--I am intrigued.

Wonderful writing, Kathleen.

I pray all is well with you and yours, too.
