. September The leaves Are beginning To go Already some Have fallen earlier Than any of us thought They would The sun sets On yet another colder day And with more hours In darkness than before All the flowers In now what lesser Light there is Seem to bend From the passing wind In gestures of goodbye . |

Highly visual writing John. I could see the flowers blowing in the wind, waving goodbye to summer. Nicely done. |

The leaves turned and fell later this year than last life, these days, is slower than those warmer days of past I suppose I'll have to get up and start moving around eventually, wave goodbye to the moon and forget how you lost your love for me. So inspiring! You are! ![]() |

Thousands autumn trees I pick up the single leaf that signed with my name between the pages I press it into a sigh to replace lost dream of stretching summer alone the waving northern light what a long bright night! Dear John, your poem is beautiful though with sadness. enjoyed as always (I have not turn on my iPod yet) [This message has been edited by Drauntz (05-31-2007 01:36 AM).] |

I liked this piece, though I'd rather not think of my rake just yet ![]() |
