In Times Of Innocence Sails filled, in the exhale of angels Aloft, the heart is burst, claiming sun spot And all that matters most is moist with beginning If but this brevity of time suspended Blessed in the warmth of unpretentious rays Heaven makes its presence known Deepening the color of eyes wide And so the voice flows in sable truths Following touch that gives language to heart When the flesh turns to silk At the cusp of wonder, brightly glows Rewarding patience with pleasure trembled to give Then my arms will exalt as this Leavening the sea within, feral as first To taste of wonder unexplored and wild Copyright Kkh 5/25/07 |
