           it was just the pain talking

i had nothing to gain from balking

i'd go insane if i thought i was walking away

        from the chance of a lifetime

you said on the plane ride home that our Thomas Crown Affair was the lifeline

                    you needed

"niche" that's a very interesting word

i believed it at first

now ..... i don't know, i keep thinking relationships are about two people spending time together

but maybe i met her for inspiration

or perspiration

either way i've definitely been in desperation

without her
