    Coyote-Moon

Red dust dancing
‘til tired wind dies
cacti lament
sunset’s passing
orange to purple
Twilight...

coyote-moon rising
in night-desert song
lonesome stars
watching
far beyond man!

I can picture a giant seguaro cactus with its 'arms' bent downward instead of upward.

Bruce~
I like the idea of 'red dust dancing'~

Greatly enjoyed this little 'outside the lines' penning of yours~

An Ansel Adams landscape with color.
I can smell the pinion burning.
Fine imaging!

That last line as the tie to the bind, poet.  Well done!

You made me feel like the "little Prince", it's all there, the desert, the stars and the moon.

Wonderfully involving.

You accomplished a great deal with an economy of words!!! Excellent! I could picture the scenes vividly in my mind's eye!
