The Commitment

She the tongue and I the shell
Where two souls embraced the spell
Brought about a ghost of new
And echoes in eternity flew
As a cry escaped the bell

Nirvana touches every shore
Resonating forever more
The common swell those wings for thee
Circle round and sing for me
Ridding air that wraps the store

Shaking loose the common wield
Raging o’er the common field
Bending in forever’s wend
Looking for a journeys end
Falling to the common yield

Of holy vows and oaths assail
I bare my back against the flail
Baptized in a common core
Hand in hand forever more
The sound forever rings in sail

It wails in swell, that tongue struck shell
While tolling o’er the endless spell

I love reading your poems early in the morning and late at night -- they just wash over me in their beauty.

I love reading your poems to....as I'm certain, everyone else does...there is always rhyme and reason...deliberated within a smooth soft voice of wisdom.

Thank you Sy

They are all correct. This is a great poem. Your words always strike up a lovely tune.
