Dark side of the Moon.

      My Mental Tapestry

I closed my eyes so I could see
    what my heart holds tight;
        a lovely mental tapestry
            shining in the night.

It captivates my soul in ways
    that melts my loving heart.
        It haunts my every night and day
            a lovely work of art.

It’s more than just a tapestry,
    an Icon so it seems.
        It means much more than that to me,
            pictorial of my dreams.

Central to the story there
    an Angel with fair face;
        with emerald eyes and silver hair
            in delicate white lace.

A gracious goddess I adore
    with passion's pyre ablaze.
        I give my love forever more,
            in all ways, for always.
